Thanks for reaching out! We understand the importance of legacy voices, and we’re working closely with ElevenLabs to find a clear path forward.
In the meantime, we've secured an extension on the legacy voices through April 2026—a longer timeline than that of ElevenLabs’ direct customers. That means you’ll still have access to legacy voices until then.
Additionally, our team is developing new tools and processes to make converting existing audio clips to supported voices quick and easy. Details are still being finalized, and we'll share more information soon.

Really appreciate Articulate working with Eleven Labs to not retire voices. I've been working on a project I plan to update next year and using Sam for the main character. Mid project I noticed there's a caution sign and it now says Legacy voice and wondered if that means it will go away? Very frustrating.
Was using Murf for my AI VO and was pleased to use AI voices in Storyline, now reluctant to use SL for VO if I need to change a voice later on.
