All tracking options are not available
I'm a novice user of Storyline to create courses. In the 20 something I've made, all the tracking options are not available. The only one I can select is 'when the learner has viewed,' but each course does have a post-assessment. Even when I create the test questions within SL, I am only given one tracking option. Our LMS uses Scorm 1.2, and I've tried all combinations of reporting options-passed/failed, complete/incomplete etc. Initially, the reporting and tracking appeared fine in our LMS, but now I'm finding holes in the scoring in that I cannot see users' scores, but the courses are marked as complete. I'm wondering if that has something to do with how courses are built in SL. I appreciate any suggestions or troubleshooting tips.
The available tracking options are based on what's in the course.
- Every course can be tracked by slides viewed.
- Any course with a Completion trigger can be tracked with that.
- If you want to track based on a quiz, insert a Graded Results slide. The Results slide is what scores the designated question slides. It also submits the results to the LMS.
