App keeps saying I'm offline

What is up with the Articulate App not allowing me to insert into my story because it's telling me I'm offline. I'm not offline. I am connected to internet, and this happens all the time. All updates have been done. I'm restarted. It's frustrating, and nothing seems to work. Why doesn't it recognize my connected status, and is there anything I can do to resolve this issue? I'm ready to just stop using it. I have ensured to login on the web, open the app, and then it's still a problem. What gives?

  • Hi Dusti,

I'm sorry to hear you're running into this error so often! Looking at past discussions, it seems one of the main culprits is not having all network endpoints allowed.

I'd start there, and if you have questions or continue to run into issues, our Support Team is on standby, ready to help!

Thank you for replying , Ren.

Why would the endpoints be different for me as part of the larger corporate group? I don't understand that. It works for others in my direct work group. I can initially load it up and login each day, but once I publish or otherwise get out of the story I'm working on, I get the connection error. So, unless I restart my computer, I can't use it.  It's very odd. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall hoping this might solve the issue. I'm just frustrated that I'm the only one in my work group having this problem. lol

  • Hi Dusti!

Great question! These endpoints often have to be enabled on each workstation, so that could be one reason you're experiencing this snag and others in your large corporate group aren't. Either way, we are here to help fix this issue!

Please let us know if you still see the connection error when publishing after you've uninstalled and reinstalled!

      Hello,
I am connecting on behalf of my organizer, we are facing some technical issue in storyline 360. I am not sure if i am correct on "technical issue". But here is a thing, we have more than 30 systems that have articulate installed. The main thing is we are unable to open the storyline. It says to sign in. We did signed in but still showing no sign, instead some popup showing in browser stating "click open 360". Even after clicking on that tab the dialog box is not opening and we are unable to open the storyline.
We tried to uninstall and reinstall, still not working.
Please help me with this crisis, our work has stopped and delayed cause of this.
      Thank you.

        Hi Pentonix!

        Happy to help with this!

Checking the Articulate ID associated with your E-Learning Heroes profile, it appears you were on a 30-day trial to Articulate 360, which ended on 07/04/2025. The inability to access Storyline 360, once a trial has expired, is the expected behavior.

If you are referring to a different, paid subscription, with 30 seatholders, please connect with our team through a support case. They'd be glad to review your subscription and determine what could be getting in the way!
