Articulate Scorms in Moodle- Activities cannot be continued
Hello all,
My organization uses Moodle as the LMS. We often put Articulate Rise and Storyline SCORM packages into our lessons.
Is there any way that participants can log off in the middle of an activity without having to start over when they log in again? Many participants are complaining that all the work is lost if they don't complete it in 1 session.
Thank you!
Hi David!
Thanks so much for reaching out! Happy to help! 🎉
First off, let's talk about the Articulate-end of the process:
- One thing you'll want to check in Storyline 360 is the Resume Behavior. You can choose to Prompt to resume, Always resume, or Never resume within the Player Properties window. Here's an article that walks through the steps!

Now, moving over to the LMS-end of the process:
- It could be possible that your course could be exceeding the suspend_data limit. This article explains suspend_data and how it affects course progress when a course is resumed:
You can enable the LMS debug mode for your course to see exactly what your course is communicating to your LMS for troubleshooting purposes. Here's how:
When you have the chance, please share which SCORM format you are currently publishing with, your .story file, along with the published SCORM packages. We'd be happy to take a closer look and see if we can replicate this behavior! You can share this in this discussion or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
