Hi Laurie - This approach will work well for screen readers. Remember that the keyboard controls the screen reader, so a screen reader doesn’t stop reading unless the user pauses the screen reader, usually using the CTRL key. When the layers are loaded, the screen reader continues reading the layer content.

Another approach to designing video quizzes would be to break the video and question out into multiple slides. For example, Slide 1 has the video intro and ends with the question and choices. Slide 2 resumes the video and ends with the second question and choices.

This approach might make reviewing content easier for some users. The flow is the same, and the learners won't know they're on a single slide or a series of slides. You don't have to set up your quiz like that; it's just an option for chunking the video and questions into smaller bites.
