Audio Editor: Silence feature
Hi,
When I opened the audio editor and used the silence feature, I used to see a window that allowed me to add seconds to the clip. I no longer see the window. Do you have any idea why?
Thank you,
Lisa
Hi LisaKiser-da496,
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand you don't see the pop-up window that allows you to edit the duration of silence. I'm happy to help troubleshoot! I tested this out and I was able to add silence and adjust the duration. Here's a short Peek.
First, please ensure you save your file to your local hard drive, typically your C: drive. If this issue is specific to one file, you can try importing your slides into a new Storyline project. If this happens in multiple files, you can try a Storyline repair. Please let me know if this does the trick!

Hi Kelly,
Thank you so much for the video it was very helpful. I figured out what I was doing wrong. I placed the cursor in the audio, dragged it, and then clicked silence. What I needed to do was put the cursor in the area where I wanted to add silence, click on silence, and the duration option popped up. This is what happens when you don't use the feature enough...lol! Thank you again, Lisa
