audio on base layer

Hi everyone,

I have a project where what I want to happen is when the user clicks the button, the audio goes out on the base layer and it turns on in the new layer. Then, when you click the X on the new layer and go back to the base layer, the audio resumes. I have tried pausing the timeline and pausing the audio, but I do not get the desired result. I have attached the slide. Thank you!
