Audio will not play in Storyline360 - not any way, even in preview

The sound randomly stopped working in Storyline. I am not having other issues, and everything is up to date. I run it on a MAC through parallels (have been for years) and have not changed anything else. When I publish to Review360 or publish and upload to the LMS the sound is there, but I cannot hear it to adjust timing or anything in Storyline360. I went into sound setting on the widows side and made sure the speakers were still selected for output and nothing was wrong there. All other applications are playing sound, just not Storyline360. Please advise!!

    I un-installed and re-installed it 2 times this morning and it fixed it! I am not sure what the issue was but I am back in action!

    I have the same issue now, after running the latest update.
    My course now randomly cuts out voiceover, or starts the voiceover a second or two late, or starting in the wrong place.
    This is a course I have been working on for 6 months, and that's been through many QA checks.
    Really rather annoyed.

      I un-installed and re-installed twice, and then it was fixed. I hope your resolves as well!

      • Have you tried a repair of Storyline 360, as my colleague Joe recommended earlier in this thread? Do you notice any change? 
      • If you import your existing course into a brand new .story file, do you experience the same cutting out and delay in voice-over audio?
