Branching in RISE 360 Courses
Hello,
I have a question! I'm building a course for multiple countries to use and in my course I have lessons with content plus calculation lessons. I'd like to only use one course but somehow make the user branch or go to that specific calculation lesson and skip the other and continue on with the other content and then finish the course. The difference is due to metric system- Metric vs Imperial.
Right now, I just have a transitions and manual touches for the user, and I believe this confuses them, and they keep doing ALL lessons including the one they don't need. Any work arounds with Storyline maybe? I'm not savvy in Storyline as I've been only heavily using RISE 360, but if a video to watch or guides to read, that would help! Thanks!

I'm not seeing where I can add this in RISE under labs.

To avoid confusion about which lessons to complete, you could turn off the built-in navigation and just use Button/Button Stack blocks to move through the course. This post has more info: Branching in Rise
To branch in Storyline, you could use a variable to track what path the user should follow. This post has more info: Branching in Storyline

Yeah, I think I need more of this. Sounds like the hyperlink enhancement works well within a lesson and moving around if that lesson is long, however, I need to fully jump a whole lesson.

You can jump between entire lessons also

Hello, I turned off the prev/next buttons and created continue buttons. A user finished the applications chapter which had a continue button at the bottom, but he couldn't go further, which not sure what happened as it worked on my end when I tested. And he hit save and close and it pushed it back to the first chapter. Everything seems to function properly on my end. How can I prevent this going forward for user error? My course is being piloted right now.
