Branching Scenarios and Results Slide

hello!

I don't know if this is possible, but I need to create a results slide for a multiple branching scenario slides. I don't want to turn it into a free form slide since then it takes away the consequences. In the event that this isn't possible does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm using the results slide as a deterrent for skipping the scenarios. I looked at disabling the next button, but I couldn't get the triggers to work to turn it back on once the correct answer had been chosen. Any and all help is appreciated! TIA

  • Hello SarahVaughan-0c,

    Thanks for reaching out!

You can't add non-question slides to Results Slides. Slides will have to be in question slide form for them to be tracked properly. Would you mind sharing how you want your course to branch out so the community can help you with your design? I'd also recommend converting your slides to free form question slides and reuploading an updated copy of your course in case someone wants to use your project file to demonstrate a solution they'd like to share!

  • SarahVaughan-0c : You can make the Feedback layers look however you want them to look. To get away from the standard setup, just apply the Blank layout to the layers. Then edit, add, and/or delete objects as needed.

Doing that lets you design the Feedback, while still taking advantage of the built-in functionality of a graded question.

  • Hi,

Did the file I uploaded not come through. The scenarios don't span multiple slides, so a multiple-choice slide would work. I don't like how the feedback slides look as I need them to have lengthy explanations on why that choice is correct or not.

    Thanks!
