Testing your slide on my end, in Google Chrome with the NVDA screen reader, I did not observe the behavior you described. After selecting the final list item (elephant) and closing the drop-down menu, I could not hear NVDA announce the Validate button. "Valider" was only announced after I switched the focus to the button with the Tab key.

It would be easier to troubleshoot this issue if we could see a screen recording of the behavior as you're experiencing it on your end. Also, seeing a copy of the .story file you've been working with would be helpful. Feel free to upload those items here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
