Built-In "Accessible" Theme
Hi Daniel!
Thanks for reaching out!
I noticed that you've previously opened a support case and connected with my teammate, Lianne. I've updated your case so Lianne can provide additional insight on the Accessibility Theme in Storyline.
We can continue the conversation through your case to keep all information in one spot.

I am also interested in learning what makes this theme accessible. Is there any information you may be able to provide?
Thanks!- StevenBenassi9 days agoStaff
Hi JanetCC!
Happy to share some insight on this!
The "Accessible" theme in Storyline 360 is specifically designed to support Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Including features like screen reader support, keyboard navigation, and visible focus indicators. These enhancements make it easier for learners with disabilities to navigate and interact with course content.
Other Storyline themes support creating courses that adhere to WCAG as well, but they require authors to make certain design choices, such as using readable fonts and defining a meaningful focus order. The "Accessible" theme simply provides a more streamlined starting point for accessibility-focused authors.
