Built-in Disabled State: Why would an item still be able to have its HOVER effects if it's been disabled?

Still an issue 5 years later if the objects are grouped.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with grouped objects in Storyline. The issue reported in this discussion has already been fixed. I ran some tests in the attached Storyline file, and the grouped object with the disabled state did not have hover effects.
Let me know if you see the same behavior when testing on my project file. I used the latest Storyline version 93. If the issue persists on your end, please share a screen recording of what you see so we can investigate further. If you can also share your Storyline file, that would also help. You may also share it privately by sending it along in a support case. We'll delete it when we're done testing.
