Built-in Disabled State: Why would an item still be able to have its HOVER effects if it's been disabled?

Still an issue 5 years later if the objects are grouped.

I have also encountered this issue - I was puzzled why my disabled state rectangles were showing the hover state when hovering over, found this thread, tried ungrouping with the image that they are sat on top of, and now the disabled state is working as I would expect.  It appears this issue is back even if it was fixed at one point in time.

    Hi PeterGrennan,

    Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you're seeing!

    I'm curious if this is the case with multiple projects or just one. Testing Eric's file above, the hover state works as expected for grouped or ungrouped objects. Are you willing to share your file so I can see how your course is set up? This sounds like odd behavior and I'd like to investigate further.
