Bulk swapping out videos used in simulations

Thanks for sharing the details. I can see how much work you’re managing with so many sims and languages on a tight deadline!

There isn’t a bulk replace option in Storyline today for swapping out screen recordings or videos in simulations. The workflow you’re using, where you re-record and then swap elements, is the standard approach.

To help speed things up, you might:

• Use the translation import feature so you don’t have to manually edit each label or callout in your simulations. By exporting all on-screen text at once, translating it, and then importing it back in, Storyline will automatically update those text elements across your slides in bulk.
• Break simulations into smaller scenes so you only need to re-record the sections that change.

I know it’s not the shortcut you were hoping for, but I’ve shared your request with our product team since a bulk swap feature could really help with multi-language workflows like yours. We'll let you know if anything changes that might help.
