Button icons moving

Hi I have used a button with an arrow icon.  The icon is to the right of the text in the button.  When it is published the arrow moves - sometimes over text and sometimes outside of the button. I have also noticed that although all the text and icons are white sometimes the icons show as black.  They are still white and to the right in the various inbuilt states.  I thought it was a quirk in 360 Review but it is also happening in the LMS.

I will attach a screen capture the next time this happens - it happens randomly.

    Hello Jennifer!

I see you started a case with us, great call! Looks like Jan Lua has started investigating with you and offered a suggestion. Be sure to let Jan Lua know if that works for you!

I know this is an old one, but it is still happening to me sometimes.  I find it usually happens if I change screen size while storyline is still open.  To fix, simply close the file and reopen before publish.  If that does not fix it do a re-save of the file with a different name.

  • This is still happening to me, and makes using button icons a hard NO. Button icons are shift to the middle of the button horizontally after publishing (work fine in editing and preview). Tried to create button icons using different steps (text first, save, edit, add icon, save... vs add icon, text, ... save).

      Hi there, ToddHaynes-40dc !

      Thanks for reaching out.

Do you notice any difference in your experience with button icons if you import your course into a new .story file?

Could you share a screen recording of your experience so we can take a closer look at what you are experiencing?  Feel free to share this along with your current file in this thread or privately in a support case. I'd be happy to take a closer look at your setup.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
