Can I have multiple correct drag object/drop target combinations?
Hi Jacquelyn,
As Ashley said, default Drag and Drops are relatively restrictive. Perhaps a Pick One simulating a drag and drop will meet your needs. I created an instructional video a while back: Drag Drop - Multiple Drags with Multiple Targets. Here's the description:
Articulate Storyline users sometimes feel constrained by the default Freeform Drag & Drop quiz, which limits us to 1 drop target per drag item. In this tutorial, I describe how to overcome this drawback using a Freeform Pick One Quiz.

Very smart workaround Rebecca. I may use this soon. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for this Rebecca - it really helped me figure out a solution to a similar style question in a quiz I'm working on.
The only thing I had to add was to add a 'drop incorrect' state and appropriate triggers to allow the answers to be dragged to any drop target and not snap back to the original place (in your example, to allow the yellow flower to be placed on the purple pot and this to be wrong).

This method works great in SL2, but doesn't seem to work in SL3. Does anyone have any further instructions to accomplish this in SL3?

Hi Taylor
what issue are you facing with this method in SL3 - can you share your story file or the slide so we can see the setup.

Hi Rebecca, your solution has been great thanks. Though I have come up against a wee thing that means my interaction isn't working as I'd like it...
The issue I have is that the hazard signs that get dragged can get dragged to the same target, and it will still tell the user that they got everything correct - I need them to drag one cross to each hazard. At the moment, as long as the crosses are on a bit of one of the targets it will report it as correct.
You can see it in action here: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/01a59bd9-860e-491b-9265-23b90705705a/reviewDo you have any ideas?

Thanks Rebecca! 7 years after your post, I finally needed this info. You did a great job explaining it.

Hi,
Thank you Rebecca for for solution which has helped many people over the years.
I've got a question. What triggers can I add to make sure the learner cannot click "submit" before he has drag and dropped all of the icons? I've got 8 different icons and targets, and I don't want the learner to be able to try just one option and move on.
