Can't Seem To Hide the Course Menu

In the Player, the Player Tabs box, "Menu" is deselected. The only Player Tab to remain selected is "Resources." 

When I publish my course, the menu continues to show up on the left side. Any thought as to why it keeps appearing? 

(My googling this question suggested that it might have something to do with JavaScript but I didn't add any to this course. Another possibility suggested was that a trigger in the course somehow displays the menu. 100% of my triggers show the next slide or a layer. I didn't even use variables in this course. So I can't imagine it's a trigger.) 

Any ideas?

    I "fixed it," I guess. I shut down Storyline, rebooted my computer, and the next time I published the course, the menu did not appear. So.....it works as intended now. Not sure why that worked, but it did. I would have deleted this question so as to not waste anyone's time but I figured perhaps this would be useful to someone struggling with that issue three years from now. Reboot! lol.
