Captions and file names
I have 2 questions.
Please note I am not using the storyline player.
Frist Question is about the storyline file name displayed in rise.
This is a storyline file imported to rise. It displays the technical name of the file. Is there any way to turn it off?
Second is about captions
When I create the file in storyline the captions are fitting properly in screen
But when I import the same to Rise as a storyline block they go out of screen.
Kindly help out,
Shaunak

Hello ShaunakS,
Thanks for reaching out with these questions! For the first one, Rise automatically displays the published Storyline file name when you insert a Storyline block.
At the moment, there isn’t a setting to hide or rename that label directly in Rise. The best workaround is to rename your Storyline file before publishing it so that a more learner-friendly title appears.
I’ve noted your request for the ability to hide or customize this name and shared it with our product team for review.
As for the captions extending off the screen, that usually happens because of scaling differences between Storyline and Rise. Here’s how to adjust your settings in Storyline to help fix it:
- Open your Storyline project.
- Go to the Home tab and click Player to open the Player Properties window.
- In the Current Player dropdown, select Modern Player.
- Click the Other tab (the gear icon).
- Under Browser Settings, set Player size to Scale player to fill browser window.
- Publish the project again and reinsert it as a Storyline block in Rise.
If you still notice the captions extending beyond the visible area, you can share your Storyline file privately in a support case, and our team can take a closer look.
