Changing default font color on quiz feedback layers for a template

Hello Articulate Community! For the quiz feedback slide layers, the default font color on the "Accessible" and "Modern" Feedback Master is a light gray that is difficult for the user to read. I've changed the font color for both of these in the Feedback Master to black and resaved the .athmx template file. However, when I import the template into a blank project, it reverts the font color to the default light gray. Does anybody know how to get this to stay in a template? Changing the font color is one extra step for our staff to remember to do every time so I am trying to find a way to reduce workload. Thanks for any help!

  • Hi KatyChristian

    Happy to help!

Just to clarify, are you using one of these options to import your template into your new course?

As a troubleshooting avenue, I'd like to suggest these steps

To change the layout for an existing feedback layer in your course, switch to Slide View and select the feedback layer you want to edit in the Feedback Layers panel.

Then do any of the following:

    • Go to the Home tab on the ribbon, click Apply Layout, and choose a layout.
    • Right-click the slide workspace, scroll to Apply Layout, and choose a layout.
    • Right-click the slide thumbnail in the Scenes panel, scroll to Apply Layout, and choose a layout.

If you're still having difficulty with the font color showing as expected, I'd be happy to take a closer look at your file! Can you share your .storytemplate file with us that includes the Feedback Master? You can attach it to this thread or upload it privately within a support case.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
