Clashing layers
I want users to submit an answer (the answer is 10).
They have to put the answer in the correct place.
Normally, before submitting the number, the user would be able to set a start date. I created a layer for a calendar but I also need my submit answer layer to be visible.
How can I get my calendar to set and then hide, while still allowing for my submit answer layer?
It will make sense when you view the file. :-)
Thank you.
Hello Iffaf,
Thanks for sharing a copy of your project file!
I took a look at it and observed that the reason why it appeared like the 'Calendar' layer wasn't displaying properly was because of an issue with the calendar image. I added another object into the slide just to confirm that the layer was displaying properly, which you can see in the recording below:
As a troubleshooting step, try replacing the calendar image in your layer with a different one to see if this fixes the issue.
Let me know how it goes!

Hey Iffaf. Looks like your calendar image has an initial state of Hidden, and there is no trigger on the layer to set it to Normal when the timeline starts. Don't know if this was intentional (setting the initial state to Hidden), but to resolve your issue, simply change the initial state from Hidden to Normal.

nice catch - Daniel

Interesting issue - I cannot replicate the issue in a new build, but this one seems to be acting corrupt. You may want to consider submitting a case - https://articulate.com/support/contact/case

Hello.
Daniel and Joe,
You were both right.
There was an issue with the image. I had initially set it to hidden when it was on the main layer and didn't undo that when I moved it to a layer.
It's all running smoothly now.
