Closed captions not showing

I have a project where I have a video with closed captions, but the video is in a group with another image, and when I preview the slide, the closed captions button doesn't appear at the bottom of the screen, but when I ungroup it, the button is there.

Does anyone have a fix for that?? (I want to keep my video grouped with the other object)

    Yes I am working on my local hard drive. I will open a support case.

    Thanks for reaching out and explaining what happens when you group and ungroup the video!

    In my testing, the captions button remained available in Preview when I grouped a captioned video with an image. I’d like to take a closer look at what’s happening in your project.

    If you’re not already working locally, could you save a copy of your .story file to your local hard drive, open that copy in Storyline 360, and test the grouping again? Working from a network or USB drive can cause unexpected behavior, as explained in our guide to working with local project files.
