Comments left in previous version - Rise

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I published a new version of the course and all the comments disappeared. When I chose the previous version of the course, the comments were there. How can I bring them to the current version?

It's the first time that the functionality operates this way.

Thanks

  • Hello Tonia,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that your comments didn't carry over to the new version of your Rise 360 course when you published it. This might happen if you duplicated the course and published the duplicate instead of the original to your existing Review 360 course. Comments are grouped by unique courses which means comments made on duplicates of original courses will have their separate groupings.

If you didn't duplicate your course, please open a case with our support team here so we can help check why your comments aren't being carried over.

I also have a question regarding comments in Review 360 for a Rise course:

    • During development, we switched the course owner. The original owner is now a "manager," and another team member (the new owner) published the course to Review 360.
    • Later, the original owner (as manager) republished the course to Review 360.

If a course switches owners or another team member from the same organization/account republishes it, will comments from previous versions still be accessible? If so, where can they be found?

Additionally, does switching the course owner or having different team members publish updates impact the availability of comments?
