Continuous background music in Storyline 360
I am creating a Storyline project that has multiple slides with Engage interactions. In Presenter I could add continuous music by making a Playlist. However, this option doesn't seem to be available in Storyline. I tried adding the audio to each individual slide, but then whenever the user clicks on a different part of the Engage module the audio would simply restart. Is there any solution to this?

Good news! I'm happy to share that we just released Storyline 360 (Build 3.81.31200.0), which includes a feature to control the background audio for each slide using triggers to play, pause, or stop the playlist.

I agree that background music is a pretty basic request, and it's been made for a number of years in the community. I'd like to see this as a feature that doesn't require adding JS.
I don't understand what the hold-up is on this feature. Captivate has had this functionality for YEARS. Why can't Articulate get on the ball with this?
I was really hoping there would be an update on this feature. Sadly, from what I can see there has not. Hoping this will be something Articulate strongly considers for future releases!
Adding to this thread to request a continuous audio option. This would help tremendously. There was an update today and I was hopeful this would be one of the features, but it was not.

Have a look at this post by Emily. She gives a great workaround to getting your audio to play across all slides in Storyline.

Here's a cool trick for adding background music across the entire project--the tutorial is for Storyline 2, but the same method works for Storyline 360.

I tried Emily's trick but it does not work.
I put the audio file into the folder and add the code lines on the story.html and story.html5 document. I'm using Storyline 360. Could it come from the LMS?

For uploading into an LMS it is necessary to change the file "index_lms.html" and "index_lmx_html5.html". Not sure if that will make it work for you because I did not try it recently, but it might at least solve part of it.
Desperately trying to get this to work in 360 though can't seem to. I am uploading the file to the internet. Where is the index_lms.html and index_lmx_html5.html located? I have edited the story and story_html files though it is still not working! Would appreciate more help on this and if anyone could provide a template example that would be brilliant . Thanks!
