Copying and pasting Feedback layers to other questions

Hello,
I have a feedback layer group in Arabic "for correct and incorrect results of each question", that contains specific fonts and wordings, and I have a lot of questions to work with, so I wanted to copy and paste those layers into other questions instead of their native feedback layers, however they don’t show up when I preview the scene, any reason behind that?

Hi Ramadan, would you mind sharing your .story file here?

Also, have you tried changing the layout of the feedback layers? If not try changing the layout of the feedback layers for a specific slide and see if you're still able to replicate the issue.

Also, I suggest you to create a custom feedback layer and by doing this, you can simply change the default layout to the layout that you created in the Feedback Master. To create one, click on the View tab and select Feedback Master, then you can either modify one of the default feedback layout or you can create a new one.

  • Be sure you modify the existing Correct, Incorrect, and Try Again layers. Without those names, they won't function like you expect in your quizzes.

  • I have created a custom feedback layer, however, it is in arabic, and doesnt show when previewing the questions.

I will create a sample file with what I need and will upload it here.

  • Be sure you include a slide with the custom layer you created, because what you really want to know is why that layer isn’t showing.

  • Hello Ramadan,

Have you considered editing the actual layouts being used by your slides in the Feedback Masters section of your course?

If you modify the feedback layouts being used by your question slides to reflect the changes that you want, you won't have to paste the layouts into each of the question slides anymore.

Additionally, you'll want to make sure that you're adding text boxes and not text placeholders in the layouts if you'd like the text that you're adding to be immediately visible once a feedback layer loads. Please try adding text boxes containing the Arabic text in your feedback master layout, and let me know if this works for you!
