Course Resuming
The course I'm currently working on consistently returns to a specific slide whenever I attempt to resume learning, regardless of where I left off last time.
are you using Scorm 1.2 ?

Just wanted to share that I responded to you in your other post here. I'm echoing Jürgen's thoughts on this one, if you're using SCORM 1.2, there's a chance that your course is exceeding the Suspend Data limit set for your learning standard. Try using a different learning standard like SCORM 2004 3rd or 4th edition when publishing your course to see if this fixes the issue.
