Thanks so much for sharing a sample of your project! It's helpful to understand your setup a bit more.
A workaround would be to have the learners click the TAB key after the slide loads. You'll want to be sure that the slide is set up with the TextEntry above the Background image and the Rectangle. Here's a quick look at the timeline:

I don't want to interrupt your current design, but I did want to mention that having the cursor available at the start of the timeline isn't the most accessible approach for learners. I'm curious to hear what other community members have done as a workaround for a similar interaction!
