Have you tried adding the hide layer trigger at the top of the list, before all of the jump to slide triggers?
The order of the triggers is important when trying to get everything working.
See also the modified story file witht the added trigger. It seems to work as you intended.
The trigger order makes sense here. I’ve run into similar issues in Storyline where the right trigger was present but wasn’t firing as expected because another action happened first. Putting the Hide Layer trigger before the Jump to Slide triggers seems like a good thing to check, especially when returning to the same slide. Thanks for sharing the modified file as well—it makes the solution much easier to follow.
