Hello, Is there any way to download a file from Review after publishing it to Review? I ask as I am working on a storyline 360 project, published to review for my team to review, and then my computer crashed. Our IT was not able to recover any files from my computer. So the training is in Review, but I don't know if I can get the file from there some how. Is that possible? Thank you

Hello KayLee! We don't currently have the option to download a source file from Review 360 on our roadmap. However, you should still be able to open projects in Storyline 360 created in previous versions. If you've turned on the auto-recovery option, you should still find the previous versions of your projects in your Temp folder. Here's how to check: 1) Open this folder in Windows Explorer: %appdata%\Articulate\Storyline 2) Scan the contents of this folder for a file that starts with the name of your project. If you find one, copy it to your desktop. If you find more than one, copy the latest version to your desktop. 3) Change the file extension of the copy on your desktop from *.tmp to *.story. 4) Double-click the file to open it in Storyline. This is very disappointing news that I can't download storyline file from 360 review. I inherited a project from someone who died suddenly, and laptop has already been re-deployed. We have the links he sent to the subject matter experts last year for review & updates and now more changes are needed. Reading this string of messages tells me I will need to rebuild these entire courses, which really stinks and will take a lot longer. :(

Hi Articulate team, When could we see the option to download a file from Review 360? I need to download a version that I can only find in this section and I would love to see this option implemented as soon as possible. Thanks!!

Just another +1 for the ability to download a file from Review 360 - our archives failed us and I'm scrambling to recreate the latest version of a project for our clients for an annual refresh. This would be a life saver!!! I'm going to try the .tmp tip shared above and see if that works, but my whole team would love this feature. How can we get it to the top of the list?

Hello - I saved everything as I went. My computer was acting up so I now have a new computer. I went on the old computer and typed in %appdata%\Articulate\Storyline but my project isn't there. I see it in Review, but I can't find it on my computer. Any ideas where it might be?

I'm so sorry to hear that you can't find your file. That was a good call checking your temp files as Lauren suggested. I'm happy to help troubleshoot from here.

Is it possible it was saved under a different name?

Can you confirm if you were saving the course on your local hard drive? Working from a network drive can cause unexpected behavior or corrupt files.

By default, Storyline project files are saved in the folder: C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\My Articulate Projects\
If you have saved your files from a different location, a good way would be to search your drive C: for all files having the .STORY extension.

You may also want to check the Recent folder and Recycle bin as an extra step. Additionally, this article includes tips to avoid file corruption and losing your project files.

Chiming in here again to see if this feature will ever be implemented. Would love to be able to edit projects that were created by my predecessor who is no longer with our organization, but have no way to access their previous files.

So that Storyline projects published with this feature can be downloaded from Review 360. Let me know if you're looking for other features outside the scope of the Cloud Backup functionality.
