Downloading Media Content Library 360
I'm wondering if there is a way to make the items in the media content library 360 a downloadable asset when we install the software we purchased. In other words, can we find a way to make it available to your customers who are restricted when "venturing beyond" the cyber walls to insert a media asset from the content library?
I'm new to the application so there may already be a workaround.
Please advise - it's a huge part of why we went with the application in the first place.
Hi Margaret!
It sounds like you needed some help accessing assets from the Content Library. I'd be happy to assist with that!
Thanks for sharing the screenshot! First, I'd like to confirm that the network endpoints are enabled. You may need help from your IT team on this! Please check if port 443 is open. If not, ask them to open port 443 and add the domains in this article to your organization's allowlist. Doing this will give you the best experience with Articulate 360 services!
Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Thanks Steven,
We may be locked out of being able to do this.
Can you tell us the URL of the media content library (if there is one)?
Thank you,
V/r,
Peg

Hi again, this is an update to my issue. It is stopping on the download - in other words it tries, but then quickly gives the error message I provided. In the meantime, we're looking into adding what we can to our allowlist.

Hi Steven, any other ideas on how to troubleshoot this in the meantime?
Hi Margaret,
I'm happy to jump in here!
Enabling the network endpoints listed in the article Steven suggested should solve your issue. If you're still seeing the error after doing so, I'd like to connect you with one of our talented Support Engineers so they can investigate what's going on. You can reach them here!

Thank you! My IT guys are pursuing, and I've provided the POCs for the
engineers to them.Really appreciate your assistance.
One more thing: can you please provide examples of the correct way to give
credit for an image, video, etc. that we may choose to use in the online
media content library?Thank you,
V/r,
Peg

Hi Margaret!
Thanks for the feedback!
Content Library 360 assets are all royalty-free for commercial and non-commercial use—no attribution required! However, if still necessary, Richard offered some helpful suggestions in a related thread here.
Also, it looks like part of your e-mail signature came through when you replied via e-mail. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response.

Good Morning,
This is an update to my issue with downloading from the media content library.
I continue to get the error.
The CCB is asking about STIGS for ARTICULATE 360 (Security Technical Implementation Guides). Is this something you can provide?
Also, according to the CCB "All these site should be accessible to you according to the CCB none are blocked :*.articulate.com, *.reach360.com, articulateusercontent.com, *.pexels.com, *.pixabay.com,
*.unsplash.com, *.thenounproject.com, *.vimeo.com, *.vimeocdn.comSo, please provide STIG information and I'll pass it along.
Thanks,
Peg
Hello Margaret,
Happy to help!
There's a possibility that your computer is still unable to reach the endpoints necessary to allow Content Library 360 to properly display content. Would you mind doing a quick connectivity test to the endpoints to see if you are able to connect? This video shows you how.
Just to recap, the steps to test are:
- Open the command prompt on your computer
- Type 'ping' followed by the address that you want to test
You should see the command prompt respond with "Reply from..." indicating that the connection is successful.
If you do not see this prompt, please reach out to your IT staff to let them know that you are still unable to connect to the endpoints. If you do get a response, please open a case with our support team here for further assistance.

Thank you - my IT guys are going to double check that the NEC indeed added the two URLs that we are not able to ping:
reach360
thenounproject.com
Will keep this ticket updated - should know tomorrow!
Sounds great, Margaret! Thank you for the update. We'll continue the conversation over in your support case!
Have a great start to your day, and happy developing! ☀️

Hello again, They have submitted another ticket to CBii which is one more level up. In the meantime, I have a question.
Reach 360 was not purchased with my package and it therefore not available. Is this one reason we cannot ping reach360.com and does reach360.com have anything to do with the media content library 360?
