Drag and drop activity
Hello, I'm building a drag and drop activity in Storyline 360. I have 3 drop targets and 9 drag items. My drop target options are set to tile. I want to limit the number of drag items to each drop target to 3 items. In a nutshell, once there are 3 drop items in one drop target, I don't want to allow any more items to be dropped into it. Is there any way to do this?
Many thanks in advance

KevGriffiths: Consider creating a Freeform Pick Many instead. It could have an array of buttons: 9 rows x 3 columns.
This post is about ranking-order interactions, so the demo limits the user to one selection in each column. But that programming could be adjusted to ensure the user selects three buttons in each column.
Hi KevGriffiths!
Happy to help!
Currently, Storyline 360 does not have a built-in feature for limiting the number of items per drop target to three. Authors can limit each drop target to hold only one item, or have no limit at all. However, we are tracking a feature request to expand Drag-and-Drop options, and I've included your voice in the report!
In the meantime, I'll open the floor to our community to share alternative design suggestions with you!
