Duplicate fonts in SCORM export - Articulate Rise 360

Hello,

We are getting a duplicate font error within some of our SCORM files created with Rise:

Here is the error we get from Cornerstone:

Failed to unzip: Could not Unzip file, The file '\\lhr-prd-fs1\3rd.Party\learn\publications\32712\scormcontent\lib\fonts\39CYAn8xeUpzk2wJ-PureText-Light.WOFF' already exists.

This issue seems to have re-appeared after being solved a few years ag0:

We can rebuild the SCORM file (unzipping, copying over duplications, re-zip) however this is extra work, and it does create problems with some automation tools that we have in place.

Thanks for having a look!

  • Hi there, Clay. Thanks for sharing this behavior. I see that you have a case going with my teammate, Cleo.

He's working on how to reproduce a SCORM package that has duplicate font files. Please reply back to him in the case, and we'll nail down what's happening!

  • Yes, thanks - I sent the project so that it can be used to replicate the issue.

  • Hello I have this same error uploading a Rise course to Cornerstone - was there any resolution? Thanks!

Hi Stacey! Thanks for reaching out.

Would you be willing to open a support case here and share your project file with us so that we can run some tests?

Our engineers will try to replicate the issue and let you know our next steps.

  • Good news, everyone! We fixed the issue where duplicate custom fonts were created when an author was sent a copy of a course.

We’ve removed the duplicate fonts automatically, so you should notice that duplicate fonts have disappeared from your affected courses.

Let us know if you have any further trouble with this!

  • Hello.  I notice this issue has just popped up for us in Cornerstone on Demand  Any ideas how to resolve it?

      Hi Denise!

      Happy to help with this!

Since the issue being discussed in this thread has been resolved, I would suggest testing your course with SCORM Cloud to determine if the behavior is related to your LMS. If the issue can also be replicated when testing in SCORM Cloud, please connect with our support engineers who would be happy to take a closer look at your project file.
