Embed Youtube Video - Error 153
Hi I am having the same problem with a YouTube Video in a Rise course giving error message Video not available when it is uploaded to the LMS - can you check this for me please
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Dargc1BGNLY?si=6z0HBUH04ag57eLV" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I can remove the referrerpolicy and get it uploaded but one other video has that in and I it does display in the LMS
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/nS3FnPHIlDI?si=xi_rgjdBORhtMLX0" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Hi GloriaHender305! Thanks for sharing both examples. It’s interesting that one video is working in your LMS while the other isn’t, even though the embed codes are set up similarly.
Since your other video works with referrerpolicy included, that doesn’t seem to be the difference here.
Does the affected video play as expected when you preview the course directly in Rise 360? And which LMS are you using? That’ll help us narrow down what might be happening.

Hi on Thursday 30 Sep 4 of the videos were not working in Rise preview and I got the message Error 153 video unavailable. I had asked my manager to follow-up with the video owner and ask them to check the permission settings to allow embedding. Our LMS is Cornerstone.

Hi GloriaHender305,
I'm happy to jump in here!
Thanks for sharing those additional details. Since you're seeing an error for these videos in Rise 360 as well as after publishing to Cornerstone, this doesn't appear to be specific to your LMS.
Following up with the video owner is a good next step. I'd recommend confirming that the affected videos are still available for embedding. If the videos are confirmed to allow embedding but you continue to see an error, please let us know and we'd be happy to take a closer look!
