Embedding a Qualtrics Survey into a Rise Course

Help! I just loaded a new class into our LMS and failed to add our survey. We use Qualtrics and have a link. Can someone guide me? It would be great if it automatically deployed. I saw that for other survey apps, you could use iframe language?

    Hi Rhoda,

    Access your Rise course.

In the Lesson where you want the survey to reside, create an EMBED block.

Edit the EMbed block and add iframe code that follows this format:

    <iframe src="URL"></iframe>

Replace the URL above with your Qualtrics survey link.

Hi.  I've been trying this (via the Code Snippet option), but rather than displaying the survey, Rise is displaying only the code itself (please see attached).

Is there some method other than Code Snippet that I should be using, please?

      Thank you,

      Larry

        Hi Larry,

A Code Snippet block is designed to display code, not to execute the code.

As stated in my post above, you need to use a Multimedia / Embed block.

  • Thanks for the information! Have you all found that Qualtrics integrates well with Rise or do you encounter any difficulties in the data transfer?

Good morning @Nina, I have had no trouble at all. In fact, I have also had luck simply adding a text block, and hyperlinking the Qualtrics link.

  • Thanks, @Rhoda! Have you attempted embedding a Qualtrics survey into Rise and, if so, did you experience any glitches in data transfer to Qualtrics?

Yes, I have embedded a Qualtrics link into Rise by hyperlinking to a text block. There were no data glitches to my knowledge. People did fill out the surveys and no one reported any issues.
