Exporting all captions
I have created a Storyline360 file, and each slide has its own audio and closed captioning created within Articulate. I can export the closed captions for individuals slides but can I export all captions for the whole file?
Also when I publish to video the captions don't appear to come with it, and I then need to attach a caption file?
I am VERY new to this, and hope some can help.

I will also add my vote to the feature of exporting all captions from Storyline. It is a lot of work doing it one by one, so I really would like this feature in Storyline.
Hi, everyone!
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 73, we’ve included important fixes and new features!
One new feature we’ve included:
Boost video accessibility by including closed captions when publishing projects as MP4 video files.
To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help!
Hi Sara,
Thank you for reaching out and taking the time to share what you’d like to see in Storyline 360! We currently have this logged as a feature request, and I've added your vote. We’ll update this discussion if this feature makes it on our feature roadmap.

Please add this feature asap! I am currently having to maintain transcripts in TWO places:
- a Word document with the transcript for the entire project (which is required by people (SME's, client, etc...) who do NOT have access to a Storyline license
- and the close captions in the file (which are necessary for 508 compliance).
The work flow associated with keeping to files is cumbersome and inefficient and will eventually lead to errors associated with having two different "documents" (someone updates one but forgets to update the other). Please add a Storyline function to allow the EXPORT OF ALL CAPTIONS in a Storyline project using a single export command.

Please add my vote to add a feature that allows export of ALL close captions in the project. This is a client request.

Thanks for generating this discussion Katie. I've just been trying to work out the same thing. It's definitely a high priority feature for me because this is a lot of work to export individually.

Please add this feature asap!

Hi Ian,
Thanks for reaching out! We're still tracking the feature request for the ability to export all captions in a course to a single file. I'll add your vote and be sure to update this discussion with our progress.

It has been a while since this discussion began. I also miss this feature. You've implemented very expensive translation features, but this basic feature is not in place. Subtitles and work with them is essential to training development these days. I hope this one has moved on to the launch ramp.
I appreciate you each taking the time to resurface this request, S-JBirch, CharlotteRic945, and CarrieWhitfield! I know it is a request that we've shared before, but it hasn't made it on our roadmap yet. I've shared this request with our Product Team to see where it sits on our current roadmap. If the priority changes, I'll be sure to update this discussion.

So, I'm guessing a batch export for all captions still hasn't been implemented?
Hi Chris,
Welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community! ✨
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We love to hear from our customers about which features will be beneficial to their team, as well as to their clients.
We do have feature request logged for the ability to include closed captions when published to MP4, so this is still on our radar. I have linked you to the case and we will be sure to update you with any news should this make it onto our feature roadmap.
