External Use of Characters
Hi,
Is it okay to download or screenshot the available characters and their various poses from Storyline and Rise, use them in another programme to create a video, and then import that video back into your Storyline or Rise project, provided it is not used anywhere else?

Liz_Tyler: I don't work for Articulate, and I'm not a lawyer. With that caveat in mind, here's how I understand the Terms of Service.
As long as the Articulate content is ultimately in an Articulate "End Product" (e.g., a Storyline or Rise course), it seems okay to use them.
Note that this means you shouldn't present those videos you want to create elsewhere.

For any use of Articulate content within your courses, we suggest that all customers review the Articulate 360 Terms of Service, with particular attention to the sections on Articulate Content. Our Acceptable Use Policy is also helpful, since it describes acceptable and unacceptable conduct when using Articulate 360.
We encourage all of our users to exercise their best judgment when authoring in our tools. If you’d like extra certainty for your organization, your own legal or compliance team can also help you interpret how the terms apply to your use case.
