Feedback master seem to be a bit buggy, formatting not "sticking"

So sorry you've hit this snag! Unfortunately, it is an active bug that we've reported. Here's what it looks like on my end.

I've added your comments and files to the report, which helps our Engineers nail down why this is occurring. I'll report back when I hear of an update.

Here's a follow-up to my previous post.  I went through a similar process with a new project and kept it even more simple.  You'll notice in my sample upload that the "Correct" layout doesn't replicate all the settings of the Master.  BTW, this was done with the Modern master.  I also did the same things with the Classic master and all the children actually did reflect the master.  Something is wonky with the Modern layout.

You're right, I noticed the "Classic" feedback masters do respond with the changes made so the issue is specifically in the "Modern" feedback masters! Thanks for clarifying this. It was something I forgot to address.

We're still monitoring this bug so I'll let our team know that it's also affecting your projects. If there's an update, we'll keep you posted!

For now, we have this workaround: Manually change the font style and color changes in the Correct layer.

I figured it out.

In the master slide view,  the top slide is only for the background. If you add text boxes the software uses that positioning plus the formatting slides below the master. This is not clearly explained in the tutorials.

I seem to be running into the same issue as was reported above a couple years ago.  I'm using the Feedback Master to make the text area larger. I've tried -just- changing the main master, which at first seemed like it changed the sub masters below, but after reading  the above I went in and at least moved the feedback text box a few pixels and back to be sure.
This is what it looks like in feedback master view:

You can see the feedback text extends to the edges of the background box.  However upon taking the quiz, if I have put a lot of text in the Incorrect slide layer (via Form View), it doesn't conform to the larger feedback text box:

Am I missing something obvious?  I'd hate to think that for every question I'm going to need to manually re-size the feedback text box if it's more than a few words.

I am experiencing something similar; I updated the feedback master and selected that layout for the slide, and it looks the way I want it to in Storyline. But when I preview or publish, the formatting is all messed up, and since it looks right in Storyline, there is nothing for me to edit to correct this.
