Fixed video loop issue creates new issue
So I just needed to talk this out. One solution I found was to set the video to auto play but PAUSE it when the timeline starts. As stopping it any where during playback of the video timeline sets it back to the first frame.
Stopping it right before the video ends was my first thought, but that ties the action to the player timeline which can very easily get out of sync with the video timeline.
For whatever reason if it auto plays it does indeed stop on the last frame upon completion. I don't know if this is by design but it is frustrating.
Again as with the post above this did in fact become a problem with the looping fix.
Any admin seeing this I suggest creating a check box for looping video and go back to the original video playback functionality so we have a choice, I would put it in the suggestion box but at this point I am too disappointed to.

Yes, indeed michaelroddick, this is very frustrating and it appears that testing all possible ways the new fix would impact video in this application, before updating to fix the loop, was overlooked. No new request to put back a feature that was already included should be required.
We are also looking for the fix to happen as soon as possible, since we do what you had been doing with video for many years.
Articulate - any chance you help us out?!

Hello michaelroddick and LisaAnderson-57,
Happy to check this for you!
Would you be willing to share a copy of your project files here or privately by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing! I tried to replicate the behavior using videos in a new Storyline 360 project file, but I couldn't get the video to stop at the last frame. Hopefully seeing your project files would help shed some light on the behavior!
