Font not displaying correctly in custom block in Rise

I am creating a course in Rise, the font is set to Poppins. It's displaying correctly on my computer.

On a colleague's computer, the font is displaying incorrectly in a Times Roman style font in the new custom blocks.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue are welcome.

  • Hi LucianaPiazza ,
I have tested this on my work Windows computer, using both incognito and regular tabs on Chrome and Edge, and can't replicate the error. Another colleague, using a MAC, also can't replicate the error.
On my private computer, which does not have the font Poppins installed, I have tried on Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and again, all are displaying correctly.

Unfortunately, I can't readily access the colleague's computer to determine why this issue is occurring. Even the spacing is off in their custom blocks.
They are viewing a review link.

    Hello UlliKohn-f15750

Thank you for the update! I understand this behavior only happens on your colleague's computer, and others cannot replicate this.

Since this seems to be isolated to your colleague's computer, I recommend that they create a screen recording of this behavior and share the recording and their Review link within a support case so we can continue troubleshooting. We'll be sure to delete files after testing!

(Please note I am reposting this reply as the previous reply in this thread was marked as spam.)

I tested this on my end and can see Poppins correctly in a Custom Block, so I'd love to learn more about your colleague's setup!

    • What browser is your colleague using? Do they experience this behavior using a different browser or an incognito window?
    • Where is your colleague experiencing this behavior? I'm curious if they are viewing in a published output, Review link, or perhaps collaborating with you on this course.

It would be helpful to examine this behavior more closely. You can share a screen recording of this behavior in this thread or privately in a support case

Looking forward to hearing from you!
