Handles

Hi,

I have some images, I am using for a drag and drop. I found the images, and I removed the backgrounds on them, but they still have handles( I Googled this term), and they are taking up too much valuable space, and interrupting the drag and drop. Any idea of how to remove them WITH OUT Photoshop? I add the example below, of what I removed it is the box outline with the small square boxes that you use to make images smaller or bigger.
