How to handle grading with multiple paths?
Hi all! We had a situation this morning we solved by making two different courses, but I was curious to see if anyone thought this was possible with one course with multiple paths.
Everyone does Course element A and Course element B.
We would then change the path for the quiz based off of the role they select, using the navigation buttons: Quiz 1 OR Quiz 2.
Either one counts for completion but they would only be routed to Quiz 1 or Quiz 2 based off of their role. They would never see both quizzes.
Our trouble began when we realized for course completion, we could only use Quiz 1 OR Quiz 2 and not "either" of them. Course completion wouldn't work for grading because again, they wouldn't see one of the quizzes.
Just curious if anyone has any thoughts about how to handle this type of scenario in the future. Everything I've seen in the Rise tutorials and forum are about scenario branching, where this case doesn't contain a scenario.

As you have already identified, the issue is that you can use only one quiz for course completion purposes.
Even if you use scenarios or branching, the single quiz is still the issue.
Currently your best option is to create two courses.
