Interactions in Chrome vs. Edge

Hey all,

So, I created a bunch of videos that have interactions via cue points and hotspots (stops and starts the timeline).

They were made in Storyline and then inserted into Rise as blocks.

What happens is that when viewing the video, the cue points aren't stopping at the correct time, but it seems like that is only in Chrome. People using Edge or Safari aren't complaining of any issues.

I am using an invisible rectangle around the video with a trigger that doesn't do anything so the user can't stop the video by clicking on it directly.

Has anyone heard of any of these issues at all or any remedies? Thank you in advance!

  • Hi Edward,

Happy to look into this for you!

If your course is hosted on an LMS, have you tried testing your course in a different LMS to confirm if the behavior is isolated?

If you can replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud, please share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can check what's causing the sync issues in Google Chrome. We'll delete it when we're done testing!
