Is there a way to make the interactive accordion accessible?

I’m looking for best practices on making interactive accordions in Rise 360 more accessible. Specifically, I’d like to ensure they’re fully usable with a keyboard and screen readers. Has anyone implemented accessibility improvements or found effective workarounds for Rise’s built-in accordion blocks? Any tips or examples would be greatly appreciated!

Yes! Rise 360 accordion blocks are keyboard- and screen reader–friendly. For better accessibility, use clear, descriptive headings, ensure visible focus indicators, and test navigation with keyboard and screen readers. This ensures all users can access and understand the content effectively.

  • You don't need to do anything to make the accordion itself accessible. It's one of the blocks that is already accessible (https://www.articulatesupport.com/article/Rise-360-Choosing-Accessible-Components-to-Create-Online-Learning) but if you add images to your accordion, you'll need to make sure you add appropriate alt text to the image if it needs it.
