Job Competency Assessments in module, connect to LMS?

I am researching ways to do online competency test.

My questions are:

1- would the examples I put in the course, somehow show up as a grade in the LMS? Is that even possible? In addition to that,

2- would the questions for the assessment have to be limited to the exam builder in the LMS, within their limitations?

I want to make creative assessments and ensure the scores come out in the LMS. I dont want to do any manual grading, with examples built into the module, etc.
