It sounds like you're using Storyline 3 and are experiencing this open bug:
- Behavior: Buttons are cut off or hidden on player notifications, such as the resume prompt and the invalid answer message, when the classic player is set to fill the browser window.
- Workaround: Set the browser to Launch player in new window and then select the Resize browser to optimal size option. Here's how.
