More question types
Are more question types going to be included? It seems that only a multiple-choice (single answer) option is available. Would be good to see multiple-choice (multiple answers) and sorting questions etc.

Multi-answer is also vital for us. We are now into Q4, with no update on this since Q2. Is it near? We are still in our free trial period, and I have to say this is the sort of thing that will definitely affect the decision as to whether to purchase or not. Along with quite a few other things! Thanks.
Hi Jo,
I'm sorry for the delay! As Crystal mentioned, the timing on this has shifted and we're still working on these question types and targeting before the end of this year (Q4 '17). Forecasting release dates is also a bit new for us - so we're learning and refining that process as we go. π
If you wanted to let me know what other things you're looking to see, I'm happy to give an update on those too!
I can promise that once these question types are released, we'll update folks in this discussion and a few others. You won't need to ask us for an update. π

Hello,
Would you know if I design the quiz in storyline 360 and import it to the new storyline add on in rise.. will the quiz result be recorded in my LMS? need a work around for the multi response issue..
thanks
RakeshHi there, Rakesh. Storyline blocks wonβt report quiz data to an LMS right now.
Can you structure your questions to allow for multi response like Dorrien suggests here?

Unfortunately not in this case.. my stakeholder would like some of the specific examples used in storyline 360.
thanks for responding though
Hi Rakesh,
We're working on adding more question types to Rise, so I'd love to know which ones are important to you! I can pass that along to our Product team, or feel free to send it along to them right here. π

Hi Ashley, at this point it would be great to just get more than one correct answers in "Multiple Choice" question. Do you have any ETA on getting more quiz types?
We need to make some development choices by end of this year and it depends on more question types.

The lack of Multi-choice answer is a major set back for Rise. This is compounded by the fact that the roll out date for this enhancement keeps getting pushed back, which indicates that you do not understand what is important to your customers. There are plenty of users wanting Multi-choice answer functionality but our needs are not being met?? I now have to think of another platform to host my test.

this may be a silly question but the quiz option in RISE only gives me two questions to work with, how do I add more?
- joehardinCommunity Member
Katherine,
I struggled with this too because, in my opinion, the design isn't great. The Add Question button doesn't look like a button and it's buried in the bottom left corner.

Thanks Joe
sadly I can't find it at all so will have to give up on that one for now.

Hi Bhavik,
We're working on the question types, and should have multiple response ready very soon. We'll share here once it's released!
Katherine, if you don't see the button as Joe pointed out, can you let us know what browser you're using to create Rise courses? You'll want to check that you're using a supported browser such as Chrome or Firefox.

can you use the Storyline Interaction placeholder to insert quizzes made in Storyline?
Hi Chris,
You absolutely can, but those quizzes won't track as a part of the Rise LMS tracking options. You can track Rise courses by completion percentage or a quiz lesson.

Okay, thanks for the info!
