Multiple Results Slides - Do you have any thoughts

Hi,

Can Storyline support multiple results slides in a single course?

I've reviewed multiple posts on this topic, but none of scenarios and recommended fixes seem to fit my scenario. Or at least the ones I came across.

My course is full of questions and I have a results slide at the end.  Learners need to earn a 75%, if they do, they are passed to a final screen which completes the course for them. YAY...easy peasy.

If they fail they are brought to an assessment where they need to achieve a 75%. I've made this fail-proof, they will get a passing score (don't judge :))

I've tried many different things.  @publish both results slides are noted as final.

Once I added the second results slide, it seems no matter what I do the first results slide comes up with a score of ZERO even though all questions are included and answered correctly. The score should be 100 when I go through it.

I would love your thoughts on how I might be able to say.  IF THEY PASS @ FIRST RESULTS SLIDE, Submit those results.  IF THEY FAIL, FORGET FIRST  RESULTS SLIDE, then submit second results slide.

  • Hi Sherrie,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you would like to accomplish as well as what you are experiencing.

It sounds like you are setting up your project as outlined in our documentation:

Storyline 360: More Quizzing and Tracking Options

This statement seems to point to an issue: Once I added the second results slide, it seems no matter what I do the first results slide comes up with a score of ZERO even though all questions are included and answered correctly. The score should be 100 when I go through it.

    • Do you have different result variables for each of your slides?
    • I want to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening with your permission. You can share it publicly here or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when troubleshooting is complete.
