NEW FEATURE: Enhanced Quiz Feedback in Rise

We’re so excited to share the latest new feature in Rise: enhanced quiz feedback. This new feature lets you display specific feedback to learners depending on their answer choices.

This is super helpful when you want to give learners coaching when they select an incorrect answer. In this video, CTO Arlyn Asch walks you through how it works:

To see all the new features we’ve shipped in Rise recently, check out our What’s New page.

  • Hi folks!  Now you can make quizzes more challenging. Show learners feedback without revealing correct answers! Find out how in this article. Enjoy!

I NEED the option to reveal wrong answers without revealing correct answers because if you have an option to retry the quiz and you don't pass, then everyone will know the right answers after the first time through. Why was this designed this way? Please fix!

      Hi Marcos,

Thanks for your feedback! I'll add your voice to this feature request.

  • I would love to see an option in a quiz where a user doesn't see all of the answers, whether answering right or wrong (or just wrong).

  • I need the option to hide the correct answer when a user selects the wrong answer.  Can you do that?  Please let me know how long it would take to release something like this.  Thanks!

Hi there, Matthew. In the quiz settings, you can turn off the option to Reveal Answers. This choice will also hide feedback.

  • Hello, I've built a quiz in Rise and put the feedback on 'any answer'. But when I check in review I don't see any feedback.

    How can change these setting?

You can give learners immediate feedback and reinforce what they learned by showing the correct answer for each question after they submit their responses. Just select Reveal All Answers. And if you added feedback statements to any questions, learners will see those, too.

I don't see those in my Quiz settings! (see attachment)

      Hi Pearson Clinical,

Your screenshot shows the Course Labels.

Open your Quiz, and click on SETTINGS in the top right-hand corner.

        Hi Karl

I know I've to click on settings in the right-corner. When I choose that one I go to Labels en then I see what I show you in my screenshot.

        Kind regards, Hartelijke groet,

        Charlotte Schoemaker
