Hi since the change my storyline keeps crashing whenever i do a large chuck of work, for example if I am changing multiple objects states in one setting or adding multiple layers. it crashes. any tips to avoid this?
Hi Jessica,
Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue!
Does this happen when working on your local hard drive? Are you receiving an error message or does the screen freeze? If you're comfortable sharing a screen recording or a copy of your file with our team, we'll be happy to take a closer look.

Will a project created in Storyline 360 open in 360x64?
- Will_FindlayCommunity Member
The FAQ says, "You can open, edit, and publish project files created in 64-bit Storyline 360 in 32-bit Storyline 360 and Storyline 3, and vice versa." So, YAY for that!

Yes, I've tried it. Just keep in mind that it is in "beta test" so it could be buggy. I wouldn't use it in production yet. Or if you do, be careful and back up frequently.

Action Fine Tuning is greyed out in a project I created in the 32-bit version. I cannot access that feature for my screen recordings.

Screen recording is still under development.

I am very happy to see you finally coming up to speed for x64 architecture, but right now I cannot take advantage of this verison.
X64 is opening my sims fine, however the x64 version is missing the "Action Fine Tuning" option and I use this pretty heavily in certain simulation types. Opening the same simulation in the non-x64 version I still have that feature.

Unfortunately, I can't get past the splash-screen on start-up. SL x64 just closes without error. All SL processes terminated in Win 10.
Hello Tom!
I've opened a support case for you so our Support Engineers can work directly with you. With the beta, we want to ensure we have as much feedback as possible to continue enhancing this version of Storyline 360. You'll hear from our team shortly!

I am having the same issue as Tom. Just testing in a new Windows 11 instance in Parallels and it starts, shows first screen then all processes stop. The first time it didnt even show the opening screen. I have reinstalled and restarted a couple of times. Now it shows the screen and then quits. It is working fine on my Windows 10 instance, just not in this testing of Windows 11. This is my first time working with Windows 11 so I could be doing something wrong with it as well.

Same issue as Tom S. I'm running Windows 10 Home 22H2 Build 19045.3803 in VirtualBox 7.0.12 on Ubuntu 22.04.3 if that helps anyone who reads this.
x64 splash screen, then it goes away. And nothing. I did uninstall, reboot, reinstall to the same result.
32-bit seems to be working fine still.

So glad to see this improvement. Definitely faster. I've been using now for two weeks and really like having the improved stability and access to more memory. I'm encouraging the other members of my team to use x64 since all of our computers are 64 bit. I agree with the comment that a slightly different app icon would be helpful. Nice job folks!

When I either create a new course (in 360x64) or open and previous course (created in 360) and check the Help/About it does not show that it is using the Storyline 360 x64 version. Am I missing something? I
Hi Jerry!
Happy to help with this!
Would you be comfortable sharing a screenshot of what you are seeing when you access the Help/About window in 64-bit Storyline 360? On my end, a small 'x64' is displayed next to 'Storyline 360'.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

It does show the x64 initially, however when re-launching the course, it reverts back to just Storyline 360.
