Greater control over the settings is something I have seen a request for and I'll add this conversation as we track user impact. This will also allow me to pop in and update you here when we can.
In the meantime, we've decided to use numbered labels, even though a process order is unnecessary. This should help most of our users avoid confusion about which labels they have already visited.
Daniel, we do the same! It also helps us think carefully about how many markers we add to the image. -Erin
